Hypochlorous acid is effective at keeping mold, algae and spore growth from occurring.
BIOFILM
Hypochlorous acid is effective at eliminating biofilm inside of irrigation pipes. The neutrality of the HOCl molecule versus its hypochlorite counterpart (OCl-) is the key to this winning effect.
TIP ROT
In certain fruits that are separated from their surrogate (i.e. bananas) have the ability to develop tip rot in the stem. This causes the ripening of the fruit to accelerate. Hypochlorous Acid helps to eliminate the tip rot and keep fruit lasting longer.
